Mine ended up a calzone after failing miserably trying to braid this bad boy.
I added mozzarella (and some broccoli to soothe my conscience).
The dish has lots of potential but I under-spiced it so it ended up a bit bland.
Served with blueberry walnut salad
Well, not really.
My awesome neighbor shared some of her vegetarian chili with me. After eating it straight (delicious!) I ate it again (repeat alert) but this time as a chili burger, adding Rudy’s buns, pickles and Gouda.
Recipe will follow in the comments
The crust was great, the filling will need some tweaking but it was ok.

Tasted very good but I had to use more spices than in the original recipe.
Also, they ended up being more of a sloppy joe. They would not stick together whatsoever.
I’ve been in love with this dish ever since a good friend introduced me to it.
